When most of your sessions are in Cape May County, it’s nice to be able to walk out your front door and head to your local beach to photograph one of the coolest families in Lower Chelsea. We started off on the famous Atlantic City Boardwalk and then headed down to the beach for more intimate family photos.
Each year, I feel like the beach sessions get to be more fun. More relaxed. More smiles. I was out of my elements when I was asked to photograph myself on a beach other than the one I always use… but I think we were able to do just fine.
I think how to dress for a family session is often one of the most asked questions I get. For me, my favorite session was the one by Diana Palmer of YanPhotography where I literally let me kids pick out their own clothes. But I get it. It’s a process to dress sometimes 20+ family…
