i’m all about simple.  i say it time + time again.  i focus on your wedding day.  the details.  the moments.  i am not a fan of taking many posed or staged shots.   i just take photos i would want someone to take for me…

so meet beth + alan.  you’ll be seeing more as i rework the wedding portion of my site + add featured weddings in gallery form.  when beth first contacted me, i knew right off the bat, i would love to photograph her wedding.  her story was so unique + special + i was honored she entrusted me with her special day.  i had met her family this past july when i was able to capture her family portraits.   the weather was ominous.  i stalked the weather channel website all day + watched the thunderstorms hold off until the end of the reception.  how perfect.  enjoy a sneak peek of some relaxed captures i was able to get before we headed inside her family yard for a tented reception.

oh, and seriously, how cool is his kilt?  it’s authentic.  and his accent was to die for.
