Rebekah - Hi Courtney! I went to school with your husband. Your pics are gorgeous!! We live in a Philly suburb but my family has a place in Brigantine so we are in your neck of the woods all the time. My husband and I do some photography for fun (he’s better than me);)
Why I am happy admist this snow: watching my daughter drink hot chocolate, endless hours of playing little people and listening to makin music cd’s, movie night with my husband . . . I guess just the slow pace you are forced to do.

I am so happy about all the snow this year because it has given me the chance to be a kid again w/my 8yr old. We have been sledding more time than I could count this year and each time we do we share a genuine smile between us.

Tracy - I’m loving every inch of the snow this winter! This is my youngest son’s first winter and the fact that it is record breaking makes it all that more memorable! I also can’t help but get excited about the snow when my other two boys get excited…it’s so contagious!

Why am I happy in all this snow? Well, 1) I absolutely love snow. The more the better!We love to ski, ice skate, snowboard all of it! 2) my kids get to play in it! And I get the pleasure of watching them experience the newness of it all. My 2 yr old is having her first time playing in snow-making angels, snowmen, and snowballs! 3) its simple, but in these very troubled times we all have our health. All 5 of us, including the dogs. And our parents and that makes us very blessed. I have a good friend who is fighting for her life and it makes you stop and say thank you for the things we take for granted.
